New Pilot This Friday - History Hacker

Hi Folks,
My pilot of History Hacker airs this Friday at 8pm and Midnight.

In the show, I take a look at inventors in history and remake their inventions to make their story more accessible.
This first one is all about Nikola Tesla and the war of currents.

Hi bre- Sounds like "THE WORKS" and "SURVIVING HISTORY" format ? Will there be any "history" on Tesla ?
Good luck- but another show that would be better suited for A&E- I probably won't be watching.

I'm really excited to see this show as I've been curious about the famous "war of currents" between Edison & Tesla. And getting to see how they went through the science in plain terms is going to be fantastic!
Can't wait for the show! The tivo is set!

Awesome show... I learned a lot, actually. My 8yr old son loved it too.

Great Show man loved every minute of it. I've always been interested in the history of today's technologies (Tesla especially) so it was refreshing to see both a "hacker" show but also a documentary on the lives of these gadgets.

That was awesome!!! I did think you used the work "hack" too many times, i dunno if you wanted to stress the point, or make lazy people feel as though they were a part of the maker/hacker/diy community, but it seemed a bit repetitive. Other than that, everything was amazing, and I love the behind-the-scene stuff on flickr!

Great! I hope you are able to come back and show some other interesting "History" soon!! Too bad we didn't have shows like this when growing up in the 70's & 80's - I would have paid more attention in Science class

That was a nice show. I don't mean to sound incosiderate, but the entire time, i doubted that it was possible to have all that information, and make it last 1 hour. And here I am, writing how much I enjoyed the show! I hope it stays on, and maybe next time, I'll remember to watch it at the earlier time, or TiVo it.
