I found this site- looks like someone invented a device that counts cards for you.
http://www.blackjackcounter.com

I bet the casinos dont like this too much.

I know they don't. While card counting is legal, (although frowned upon) using any device to count cards is illegal. You WILL be prosecuted and likely blacklisted.

Clever, but considering how quickly cards are dealt and how fast the count changes, I think it would be difficult to be discreet about pushing buttons on your keychain hundreds of times an hour. At the very least you would appear to have a very nervous condition? You are much better off learning how to count in your head then relying on a lame device that could also provide the casino with the needed evidence if you were suspected of cheating.

Card counting, done properly, DOES guarantee a chance at beating the casinos' built-in house edge. It's certainly not "magic," and requires a lot of study and a lot of practice, but it can be done. I gamble professionally and my new house bought with blackjack winnings can attest to the fact that YOU WILL LOSE in the long run if you rely on streaks, but YOU WILL WIN in the long run if you use your brain and devote some time to learning a reputable card-counting system.

Hi-Lo and Knock-Out are the most popular for beginners, and you can find many books and websites that will help you. AdvantagePlayer.com (I work for that company) and BJ21.com are the most reputable sites, and they have forums where you can ask questions, etc.
